School

Tian Yang has started his new public school. He is doing amazingly (or so I hear). Also he has started Swim team. He loves it....... I really don't have much to say...Just that Tian Yang has entered our busy school year with flying colors (kinda.......)

School

Well Tian Yang used to go to a private school that most of our family went to. It goes from the 2 year olds all the way to the 8th grade. I went to public school in the 6th and so did my other brother. But Tian Yang is having trouble with reading so he is moving to my mom's public school. We all hope it will help.
Yeah...So thats whats up with Tian!

Hey Today our neighbor hood has a swim team and Tian is in it....... Tonight they have a meet, and Tian Yang LOVESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS to swim and he is pretty good at it. For practices the coaches moved him up an age group ....So yeah wish him luck tonight

Happy Gotcha Day

Hey Everybody! This is the day we are celebrating Tian's Gotcha Day! Really his gotcha day is on June 10th...But it has been really busy........ We bought a cake... My mom ordered a half sheet cake, but then we all thought that there were too many people coming and so we ordered a whole sheet.....Now a few families can't come....So we have a HUGE cake and so we will be living off cake for like a billion years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats not a bad thing.....Except its not chocolate cake so its not the best....but I can't complain.......

Sorry........

Hi, I know i have not written in a while, but life is crazy. We have recently celebrated Tian Yang's 2nd Gotcha Day. This means that Tian has been with my family for 2 years! What a fast two years it has been! Any way if anyone reads this I want to let you know that I have a knew blog that is just about random stuff. So please keep up with both of them!

How it all started

My Mom and Dad have wanted to adopt for a long time finally about two years ago they started when we finally got the referral on May,1,08 we were ready to go. then near the end of May we got the date of when we would leave. In 9 days! (June 5). So we toke the long flight to Beijing and met our group. soon we got to know everyone and we were sort of like long lost relatives. Every one had interesting stories. We met one family and we became instant friends my Brother had fun with the two boys who all shared a love for Nintendo. But after two fun days of Great Wall, Shows, and, fun food we left for Zhengzhou, in the Henan province. there we would meet Tian Yang ( aka Daniel) Tian Yang means Sky and Sea. Daniel came from XinXiang. We were surprised Tian Yang was not crying but he did look scared. He got really excited when we got to the hotel were we played with trucks. over the next few days we learned that Daniel love Ultra Man and Vanilla Ice cream. after a week in Henan we were ready to see our friends again. It was a happy reunin. were we played with the other Chinese kids and our friends. Finnally after 15 days in China we left.
now after 30 days of Daniel we have had good days and Bad days. Today we went to my friends pool and played there Tian Yang was scared of their miniature schnauzer. but is not scare of our dogs. but our own dogs are not loud and screechy. Any way he wanted to were goggles just like me. he likes to try to help and be apart of the family it always amazes me what Daniel does.
